Isolux Corsán manages more than 3,812 kilometres of lines in India, Brazil and the USA. The group's technical skill-set enables it to provide integrated management spanning all stages of its projects: engineering, line installation, construction of associated substations and system operation & maintenance.
With energy demand growing worldwide, due to rising consumption in developed countries plus new needs in emerging economies, the company's business plan is based on two vectors: concessions and EPC contracts (engineering, procurement and construction).
In Brazil, Isolux Corsán has built and operates 3,032 kilometres of high-voltage lines and their associated substations. The biggest project is the concession of 1,191 kilometres of lines in the state of Amazonas, to mesh the towns of Manaus and Macapá into the Brazilian grid system.
The company has also been the first Spanish firm to win a tender for power transmission in Texas, USA. This is a strategic market for the group's international concession expansion, in which Isolux Corsán currently has 605 kilometres of lines under development.
