Isolux Corsán leads the world power market in solar photovoltaic energy generation Through its subsidiary, T-Solar, it operates and manages an installed capacity of 168.2 MWp distributed over 42 photovoltaic plants located in Spain and Italy.
These facilities had a total power output of 223 GWh in 2010.
The clean electricity generated by T-Solar in 2010 avoided the emission of 79,834 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere. This is equivalent to planting 4,746,000 trees.
All in all, in 2010 the T-Solar photovoltaic plants recorded an average of more than 1,500 equivalent sun hours, with an up-time of over 99,6% and a performance ratio of 79%.
T-Solar also manufactures photovoltaic modules in its state-of-the-art factory in Orense (Galicia), where it produces large thin-film hydrogenated-silicon modules (5.7 m2). Its nominal output capacity is 50 MWp. Some of the modules it produces will be used to supply the new PV power plants that the company is planning to develop.
