The building sector respresents 25% of the construction area’s business volume and covers 25% of the Construction area's business volume, and covers both residential building (mainly the rehabilitation of social housing projects and homes) and non-residential building (administrative, sports, cultural and health-system buildings).
Isolux Corsán was awarded the construction of the Barcelona Preventive Penitentiary Centre in 2010, one of its flagship projects in the Building area, with a budget of €463m.
This division is also ejecuting the expansion and reform of the hospitals of Guadalajara and Seville, the Santiago de Compostela airport and the architecture for the Barcelona line-5 metro stations. Another of its flagship projects is the rehabilitation of the Aduana Taylor building in Buenos Aires (Argentina) to be used as a museum.
