The Industrial Processes division specialises in energy performance contracts for turnkey power projects with a high degree of technological specialisation and group support in R&D.
Isolux Corsán has well-tested experience and technical skill sets for such projects, which include:
- Ciudad de la Energía. The group is working on the civil engineering and construction of the electrical and mechanical ancillary equipment and the distributed control system, on one of the most important CO2 sequestration facilities in the world: CIUDEN - the City of Energy in León (Spain).
- National Hydrogen Institut. This project is for the construction of a bioclimatic building for the National Institute for Hydrogen Experimentation in Ciudad Real (Spain).
- Modernisation and automation of hydro-electricity plants in Morocco. Isolux Corsán works for Morocco's national electricity authority in refurbishing, modernising and automating practically all the country's hydro-electricity plants. Its operational scope covers a total of 25 plants, 53 generating units and an installed capacity of over 1,700 MW.
- Sulphur recovery plant in Mexico. . The company is working with Tecna in Salamanca (Mexico) on the RSI-2 sulphur recovery plant with capacity to process 80 tonnes a day
