Isolux Corsán Increases its Backlog by 43% and Reinforces its International Presence.

- In 2011 the Group reached record figures in backlog (43,110 M€) and in EBITDA (393 M€)

- With sales of 3,372 M€, 63% of which correspond to the foreign market, the company is increasing its presence in strategic countries of the world economy

Isolux Corsán closed the year 2011 with an EBITDA of 393 M€, 26% higher than the previous year, and with a record backlog of 43,110 M€, recording a 43% growth. Group revenues likewise exceeded those of previous years, reaching 3,372 M€, a 4% increase with respect to the previous year.

For yet another year, company globalization can be seen in all of its economic magnitudes, with growing revenues, 63% of which are from the international market (up from 51% last year). Of total backlog, 77% corresponds to projects abroad and 69.3% of EBITDA was obtained outside of Spain.

The Isolux Corsán job data is in line with the Group global projection strategy. In 2011, with a staff averaging over 8,900 professionals, employment grew significantly, principally owing to this international development.

 Isolux Corsán is a global company which is a leader in in the areas of energy, concessions, construction and major infrastructure maintenance, operating in over 30 countries on four continents. Last year, the company increased power transmission lines under concession, which amounted to 5,533 km in Brazil, India and the US. Currently, the Group manages 1,610 km of toll roads in India, Mexico, Brazil and Spain, 1,400 of which are already in operation. In the photovoltaic business area, the company -through T-Solar- promotes and manages 230 MWp in Italy, Spain, India and Peru.

In Spain, the company continues to be a leader in high speed rail construction. It has participated in practically all of the AVE high speed lines in the country, and in 2011 was able to sign new contracts. Also worthy of mention is the Group role in parking concessions, with 22,779 parking spaces in 46 parking facilities in 23 cities.
