Isolux Corsán's expansion strategy pursues sustainable growth in all the areas in which it works. This has enabled it to have a wide range of projects in the energy, construction and the concessions industries, with a high capacity to generate value.
The company aims to deepen and consolidate its international business and become a benchmark on the world-wide market in each of its business lines. This mission has enabled it to move up from ranking 88 to ranking 56 on the ENR Top International Contractor league table for 2010.
Isolux Corsán's mission to expand its international footprint has a direct impact on the generation of value throughout the company. It contributes to economic development in the countries where it operates.
To minimise the risks of its activities, the Group has implemented several management systems with certification by external bodies of recognised prestige (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 y OHSAS 18001). This provides guarantees to shareholders, customers and to society as a whole regarding the quality of its services, its prevention of pollution and avoidance of risks in the work place.
It has also set up a system for Corporate Risk Management and Project Risk Management to ensure successful and informed decision-making within the company. These tools, based on the COSO II standards (Comitte of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commision), enable the Group risk policy to be understood by stakeholders working with the company and its shareholders.
