Prevention of health & safety risks is a strategic value for Isolux Corsán. The Group is firmly committed to safeguarding the health and safety of its own employees and those of its suppliers, contractors and partner companies. It does so by implementation of a corporate health & safety system compliant with the international OHSAS 18001:2007 standard.
The corporate health & safety system aims at continuous improvement, committing the company to ensure that health and safety concerns are met in all its activities and due actions taken to uphold its health & safety standards as an essential value in all processes.
To guarantee and reinforce this policy, the company repeatedly arranges training and awareness-raising courses on health & safety management.

Thanks to the involvement and commitment of its employees, suppliers, contractors and partner companies, Isolux Corsán is making tangible progress in building up the safety culture it aspires to. Proof of this is the lowering of its accident rate over each of the last few years, reflecting the efficacy of greater health & safety awareness amongst the Group employees during this time.
One of the company's priority objectives is to maintain the downward trend in such rates in the future.
Isolux Corsán has defined a health & safety structure in each of the countries where it operates. The group carries out continuous monitoring of the health & safety management system in every country, to ensure it complies with the legal standards, fostering a preventive culture amongst workers, whether they be company staff or hired under contract from outside the company. It focuses on correct coordination of corporate policies and local implementation, working with local and corporate-centre management.
The internal requirements emanating from the management system in terms of safety exceed the legally established standards in the countries where the company operates. The system is periodically reviewed, allowing it to adapt to new needs that may arise for the group in each country, so that it can establish an international protocol for these matters.
