Isolux Corsán has accumulated long-standing experience in Brazil, one of the most buoyant economies in the world, with activity in all the group's business areas. The management of over 680 kilometres of toll roads and the construction and concession of more than 1,191 kilometres of high-voltage lines in Amazonas are two clear examples of the company's commitment to this country.
The Isolux Corsán Infrastructure area is in charge of the expansion and conservation of 680 kilometres of toll roads in the state of Bahía, the most intensively used transport infrastructure in the country.The BR-116 is an important corridor running north-south in the state of Bahia, while the BR-324 connects the city of Salvador with the port of Aratu.
Isolux Ifrastructure manages 680 kilometres of toll roads and 3,032 kilometres of high-voltage lines.
But Brazil is also an important region for the Concessions division.The group has the concession for 3,032 kilometres of high-voltage power lines and their associated substations. The flagship project, and the most complex too, is the construction of 1,191 km of high-voltage lines in the state of Amazonas, which will connect the state capital (Manaus) to the national grid.
Brazil is theseventh largest economy in the world, and currently presents the best stability indicators world-wide.
