The company is developing major energy projects in the Andean country, including two solar photovoltaic plants with an installed capacity of 44 MW (Majes and Repartición) which, located in the region of Arequipa, are managed through the subsidiary T-Solar

Peru is a key country in the development of energy projects

The company first entered the hydro-electric market in Peru in 2013 with the award of a €760 Mn contract for construction and subsequent operation of the Molloco Hydroelectric System, located in the provinces of Caylloma and Castilla (Arequipa).

This facility, with a generating capacity of 300 MW, consists of two hydroelectric plants and will produce energy from the water resources of the Molloco River basin and in part from the Palca river.

The Group has started work on the Chilina Bridge, an ambitious project that will become one of the longest bridges in Peru at 563 metres in length and will help to relieve the heavy traffic in Arequipa by 80%, Peru's second largest city by population
