United States (USA is one of the key countries in the group's international expansion strategy for the forthcoming years. At present, the company has the project for building and operating 605 kilometres of 345-Kv transmission lines in the State of Texas.
The project is for transmitting renewable energy produced by the wind farms in north-eastern Texas to the south-east of the state, where most of its industry and population are concentrated around the cities of Dallas and San Antonio.
Isolux Corsán is the first non-American company to win a concession for the construction, maintenance and management of 564 Km of high-voltage lines in the United States.
The award of this project made Isolux Corsán the first company from outside America to obtain the concession for one of the sections of this infrastructure programme.
The company has offices in Austin (Texas), where Isolux Corsán engineers are developing the plans for building the lines.
Isolux Corsán considers the USA to be a large, strategic market, and is constantly on the lookout for new opportunities in this country, both in concession and in EPC contracts for large road and railway infrastructure, as well as other projects related to the development of renewable energies.
