Nemesio Fernández-Cuesta

Degree in Economics and Business Studies by Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Commercial Technician and Economist of the State. His profesional career in the private company began in 1987, the date of his appointment as commercial director of the National Institute of Hydrocarbons / Repsol. In 1990 he was named executive vice president of Repsol Commercial Petroleum Products. In 1996 he returned to the Ministry of Industry and Energy as Secretary of State for Energy, where he promoted the deregulation of the electricity and gas markets.

Between 1998 and 2003 he chaired the Spanish publishing Newspapers / Daily ABC, driving a phase of modernization and multimedia diversification. Back in Repsol, the last twelve years (2003-2015) he held different positions: director of Shared Services (Technology, Engineering, Systems, Security and Environment), CEO of Upstream, Chief Operating Officer (responsible for all company business and leader of the team that negotiated with the Argentine government compensation of $5,000 million for the expropriation of YPF) and finally General Manager Commercial and Chemistry, Gas and Electricity.

Cristina García-Peri

Degree in Economics and Finance by Universidad Pontificia de Comillas. MBA from Harvard Business School.

She began her profesional career at McKinsey. In 1991 he joined JP Morgan in London, where she developed his career in serveral positions until his last position as general manager of Marketing and Corporate Equity Derivatives. In 2004 she was appointed as managing director of Equity Capital Markets and head of Corporate Equity Derivatives in Merril Lynch , EMEA .

In 2007, she joined the team as Global International Research Analyst and in 2008 she returned to Spain as CEO of Brétema Capital. She is currently CEO of Sura , a member of the commission risk and EVO Banco sponsor and secretary of the council of the International Plan Foundation.

Ana Plaza

Degree in Economics and Business by the University of Cordoba and Degree in Geography and History from the UNED . and Executive MBA at IESE.

She started his career at PWC until 1995, date of joining the Abengoa group, where she served as chief financial officer of Televent and manager of Investor Relations . In 2008 she was appointed chief financial officer of Microsoft responsibility until 2012, when she was joined by the CEOE.

She currently holds the general secretary of the CEOE and counselor at Universidad Loyola de Andalucía.

Francisco Rodríguez-Rey

Degree in Law and Economics by the University of Deusto. MBA specializing in Finance and International Business from Columbia Business School in the United States.

He began his career at Andersen Consulting and Morgan Stanley. In 1993 he joined Merrill Lynch, firm for which he worked in the US and UK, where he was managing director of Investment Banking for the Telecommunications, Media and Technology. After two years at The Blackstone Group, he was named global head of investment banking of BBVA.

He is currently a board member of MytripleA .

Juan Zornoza

He is Doctor in Law by the Universidad Autónoma of Madrid. He is Professor of Tax Law, director of the Master of Access to Law and director of the PWC Chair of International Business Taxation at the Carlos III University of Madrid.

Apart from academia, he is chairman of the arbitration board conflict resolution concerning taxes assigned the Ministry of Finance and Public Administration.

Additionally it is dominical council of GAM and member of various national and international professional associations.

Javier Carretero

Industrial Engineer from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICAI) and holds a Master’s in Economics and Management from IESE. .

He has an extensive experience in the industrial sector in General Electric, Metalibérica and among other positios has been CEO for Iberia and Latam for the Italian multinational group Ferroli.

He has been General Manager of the spanish Chamber of Commerce and member of the Board of Metalibérica, Cointra, Lamborghini España, ICEX, Vice Chairman of Dinamia and Chairman of High Tech Hotels & Resorts.

He is currently member of the Board of the investment bank Alantra.

Ángel Serrano

Degree in Law and Economics from the Pontifical University of Comillas. He has a degree in Law and Economics from the Pontificia University of Comillas. From 1970 to 1993 he was teacher at the Universidad Complutense and Universidad Autonoma of Madrid, ICADE and other universities. During this period he was secretary general of the International University Menéndez Pelayo, CEO and president of the State Corporation for the Execution of Programs Quincentennial.

In 1993 he was appointed Subsecretary of the Ministry of Trade and Tourism, political responsibility he held for three years. After stages in teaching and in public administration, he has developed his professional career as a consultant and advisor to companies including Isolux Corsán, whose Audit Committee has been president. Its main activity since 1999 is the managing partner of MBD Management and Business Development, S.A., specializing in mergers and acquisitions and strategic advisory company. He also is founder and president of Alten, investment fund in the sector of photovoltaics with positions in Spain, Mexico, Kenya and other African countries.
