247 km of 500 kV transmission lines in Taubaté - | America


The Group is executing the Linhas de Taubaté Energy Transmission project in Brazil, which includes the construction and concession of 247 kilometres of 500 kV transmission lines between the cities of Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo.

The project was awarded by the National Electric Energy Agency of Brazil (ANEEL). This contract also includes the associated substation in Nova Iguaçu (530/345 kV and 500/138 kV, 1,800 MVA of transformation).

This transmission line and substations correspond to the existing Cachoeira Paulista complex, which is being managed by Isolux Corsán. The development of this important project, with an investment of €133 M, has led to the creation of about 1,900 jobs. Isolux Corsán will manage this concession for 30 years.
