680 kilometres of toll roads in Brazil - Brazil | America

Description

The two toll roads that Isolux Corsán has built and manages in the Brazilian state of Bahía (BR-116 and BR-324) constitute one of the largest road infrastructure construction and concession projects in the country, and one of the longest in the world. With an investment of €710 m, the company is building and managing 680 km of toll roads in Brazil for a period of 25 years.

One of the largest road concessions in the world.

The BR-116 toll road is a major north-south corridor in the State of Bahía, one of the areas with the greatest development potential in the country, while the BR-324 connects the city of Salvador to the port of Aratu and to the BR-116.

The works that the company is carrying out on these roads include improving the surface, signage, security devices and the provision of customer services (tow trucks and ambulances).
