Electricity in rural Gabon - Gabon | Africa

Description

Isolux Corsán has executed an agreement with the Government of Gabon to bring electricity to 33 rural villages in the north-east of the country, in the provinces of Estuaire and Moyen-Ogooué.

Electricity supply for 10,000 people living in rural areas .

The project  has been executed in  30 months. It comprises the installation of 200 kilometers of 20-kV electricity lines. Of these, 140 km will link the villages of Kango and Lambaréné and the other 60 km has been installed between Bifoun and Ndjolé. It also includes the construction of a 225/20 kV transformer substation in Bifoun.

With these works, Isolux Corsán will bring electricity to over 10,000 inhabitants in rural areas that currently have no power supply.
