Isolux Corsan inaugurates it first power plant in the united States, in California - USA | America

Description

Isolux Corsán, through its subsidiary Grupo T-Solar has built and manages its first solar power plant in the United States.

Plant Center, located in the town of Imperial Valley, California (USA), covers an area of 53 hectares and has a power output of 55 GWh per year, plus a capacity of 25 MW.

The plant generates electricity to power about 12,000 inhabitants.

The Center generates enough energy to supply a population of about 12,000 inhabitants energy.

This project has involved an investment of over 75 million, that have been funded with a sophisticated structure of senior debt and funds provided by a model of Tax Equity Investor, a pioneer in the sector for a European company operation.

The Group has reached an agreement PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) for 30 years with the company IID (Imperial Irrigation District) for the sale of the energy produced by the plant.
