Opening of the new terminal at the Lavacolla Airport - Spain | Europe

Description

The completion and inauguration of the new terminal at the Lavacolla Airport in Santiago de Compostela (Galicia), is probably one of the great landmarks of the Isolux Corsán's Building Deartment.

With capacity to serve 2,500 passengers at peak times

The project, inaugurated in 2011, included a 74,000 m2 terminal building with capacity to serve more than 3.5 million passengers a year and manage 45,000 annual operations, 3,500 parking spaces and external infrastructure, including access road and the structures needed for general operation and utilities.

With a price tag of €166.2 million and an execution period of 24 months, the new terminal is designed to serve 2,500 passengers at peak times and manage 27 aircraft operations per hour.
