Saltillo-Monterrey toll road - Mexico | America

Description

The construction of the Saltillo-Monterrey toll road, 95.6 km long, has been the first such project that Isolux Corsán has carried out in Mexico, under a 45-year concession agreement.

First Isolux Corsán toll road in Mexico.

In building the first 51.1 kilometers, the company put up 41 structures in 18 months, for which it used over 59,000 m3 of concrete and 7,800 tonnes of steel, as well as the 307,000 m3 of concrete it employed on the road surface. Amongst the structures built, the most outstanding is the Morones Prieto Viaduct, 450 meters long and with 16 supports.

This high-capacity road has become a route that improves connectivity and boosts competitiveness for the five million people who live in the metropolitan areas surrounding the towns of Saltillo and Monterrey.
