Solar Plants in Uk - | Europe

Description

Isolux Corsán has built three photovoltaic solar plants in the towns of Langform, Churchtown and Manor, in the county of Cornwall, with a total of 15 MW, which at the time were considered the largest in the UK.

This was the first photovoltaic work done by the company in this country, executed in the form of turnkey less than 10 weeks period. The three solar parks have 22,000 crystalline modules on fixed structure technology 5 MW of installed capacity each. The total installed photovoltaic modules reaches 66,000 units.

The project, sponsored by Banco Santander and Low Carbon, a local supplier, had a budget of 40 million euros.

Isolux Corsán has also built Stradishall solar plant in Suffolk, with 31.6 MWp. The plant produces 30,200 MWh per year, capable of supplying energy consumption of 8,000 households.

This project was implemented in a shorter period than 10 weeks

The execution of these plants reaffirms the Group's positioning, accumulating a total of 340 MWp of total installed capacity among the world's largest builders of EPC projects in the photovoltaic sector.
