Solar Power Plant “El Centro” - USA | America

Description

Grupo T-Solar in December 2013 opened its first solar power plant in the United States. The plant in El Centro (California), located in the city of Imperial Valley, covers an area of 53 hectares and has an output of 55 GWh per year, enough to supply energy a population of about 12,000.

The plant, with a capacity of 25 MW, has invested more than $ 75 million, financed with a sophisticated structure of senior debt and funds provided by a model of Tax Equity Investor.

The Group has reached a PPA agreement (Power Purchase Agreement) of 30 years with the company IID (Imperial Irrigation District) for the sale of energy produced.
